Collecting tools

Hello everybody!

We are here today to preset Symbaloo. It is a free application or platform that allows users to organize and categorize web links as if they were option buttons. With this tool we can have all the websites that can be useful for our lessons! Remember that the more we share the more we know.

Here you can access to my Symbaloo account and take a look to all my blocks!

As you can see, nowadays there are eight blocks that I would like to share with all of you.

First of all, you can find an article talking about alternative sports from the point of view of sociology. It can be a suitable way to get to know these kind of sports.

Secondly, we are going to present some common alternative sports that they are not very well-known. They are colpbol, datchball and pinfuvote. From my point of view, teachers can use these sports to be innovative and move from the traditional ones. There is just one problem, these web pages are in Spanish, hope you don’t have any problem! (if not, there is always the option to translate it with the Google Chrome tools).

Thirdly, there is a very interesting web created by a former teacher of mine from University. I have learned a lot from him so I would like you to take advantage from his website where there are several links about articles and tools very useful for Physical Education lessons. Moreover, there are many things about using New Technologies in class.

Next, I have added a video giving an example of a Physical Education class using CLIL. I think it can be very appealing and open teacher’s minds in order to start applying CLIL on their lessons.

Last but not least, there is an article entitled Physical education: What if we took away the pressure to be good at sports? When I read it, I thought it would be a good idea to share it because it sees the Physical Education from another point of view, questioning some interesting points. As I have been studying in Norway I could meet their Education System, but I would talk about this experience in another moment! For now, hope you enjoy it!

I will be informing you for more uploads in Symbaloo! See you soon! 🙂

Happy Valentine’s Day!
